Bob Marley Museum:
56 Hope Road, Kingston Formerly Bob Marley's home and studio of Tuff Gong. Interesting collection of Marley's memorabilia, films, posters, records, books, etc. Mon-Sat 9:30-4pm.
Devon House:
26 Hope Rd., Kingston Legendary 19th century house furnished with antique furniture, games, carpets and paintings. Shops specializing in Jamaican crafts food & souvenirs. Mon-Sat 9.30-5pm.
Organized Tours:
are personal & comfortable, The Bob Marley Tour ($48) loops through his famous sites in Kingston. A Cultural and Historic tour of Kingston ($58). Port Royal ($54pp).

Little Theatre on Tom Redcam Drive near the National Stadium.
National Art Gallery:
Roy West Building, Kingston Mall, the most important art collection in Jamaica, large gallery on two floors. Permanent exhibition of Jamaican Art, Pre-20th century gallery. Also includes Edna Manley and Kap collection. Admission fee req. Guide recommended, Tue-Sat. 10-4pm.
University of the West Indies:
Built in 1948 on the Mona Sugar Est. Ruins of old mills, storehouses, and aqueducts are juxtaposed with modern buildings on what must be the most beautifully situated campus in the world. The chapel, an old sugar-factory building, was transported stone by stone from Trelawny and rebuilt. Organized tours available. See public relations office before you stroll through

National Library of Jamaica:
Institute of Jamaica, 12 East St., an extensive storehouse of the history, culture, & traditions of Jamaica & the Caribbean. Up-to-date, and balanced collection of materials on the region, including books, newspapers, photographs, maps, and prints. Mon-Thur 9-5pm, Fri 9-4pm.
