  • Waves Enterprises,
  • Boundbrook Avenue 876-993-3206.

Travel by Taxi:
Be sure to hail a PPV-plated vehicle (red tags), which are licensed drivers. Fares are by car, not by passenger and average $5-7/10mi. More than one group of people may ride a taxi at a time.

Travel by Bus:
Bus travel in and around Port Antonio is popular among locals but can be crowded and slow. The minibuses are not air-conditioned. Buses will stop anywhere along the route to pick up passengers. To catch one, stand by the side of the road with your arm out; pat down with your hand when you see an oncoming bus. Bus fare is about US $1 for 30-40 miles.
